Two children and an adult showing playful expressions; one child smiling softly, the other sticking out tongue and making a funny face, outdoors with other kids in the background.

“Adventure is better together, and at camp, you’ll never have to do it alone.”

Two young girls and one older girl at a playground. The older girl is sitting on a wooden seat while the younger girl is sitting on her lap, holding onto a rope, playing on the swing set. Another girl is standing in the background on the grass. It is a sunny day with green grass and a dirt pathway in the background.

Hello! I am Megan Florestano! I live in Duluth with my wonderful husband, Joe, and 5 amazing kids. Covenant Park is incredibly special to my family and I. I have spent years volunteering, on staff, Joe and I got married here, and our kids are in love with being here. So, it’s a blessing to be a part of camp where we can! I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and special education and found the Lord calling me to use that in homeschooling my own children. I’ve learned to embrace that the Lord will surprise us with His wonderful plans for our lives! I enjoy spending time with my family, going on adventures, running, and just doing life with friends and family around me. I love finding ways to teach my kids and others to see God in our everyday lives. I desire to know God more, learn how He wants to use me, and teach others to do the same!
